Hi,
I really want some kind of editor to unlock certain ships for me. I ran up a quick search on the ofrums and I found one that unlock all ships, but I only want to unlock a few at a time. Does anyone know of such thing?
Is there any way to unlock certain ships?

There is a profile editor that does pretty much what you want. It has not been updated in some time, I don't know if it still works with recent game version. Have a look at this thread: http://www.ftlgame.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2877
