For Stealth_B, The primary objective, apart from the LV.3 cloak, is get more weapon, any weapon, before sector 3. Then pump more points into weapon system. And then try to get even more/better weapon and have it powered as well. If you're lucky enough and can accomplished this, you'll not need Shield until sector 3-4— You'll kill everything in 1 cloak.

If you can't find any gun at the last shop you could find in sector 2, then buy the Shield and try to hang on as long as possible until you get more weapons.

If you fail to do both, you are doomed...

Oh, and pray that you don't run into too much rebel rigger!

Wow, I just got the Stealth B and hell is this ship hit and miss.
On one hand you got incredible power, on the other incredible glaring weaknesses.

One run I lucked out by not running into an evil drone or rocket ship and got to sector 5. Slug home nebula. Black Raven event. Black Raven has a Glaive Beam, too and 2 shields, and also cloak. I got butchered.
Aside from that I was able to start many more games in half an hour than I´m used to.
Maybe because fights I win last exactly 25 or 50 seconds, but probably because I get hit by stray shot hitting me with 85% evade during cloak right in the weapons bay. And then I die. And it happens far too regularly, what with the 25 second window before I can shoot again.

But it is so tempting. I want to succeed with a Glaive Beam. I really, really want to.

Well said. My last attempt ended after two jumps only.

The first enemy ship nailed me in the weapons bay with a heavy laser shot despite my immediate cloaking and puming 02 system power into engines. Sent all crew there to fix immediatley but still suffered major damage to all other systems and lost half HP before ending the fight with one shot from the Glaive.

Stealth B is....HARD. I find this game overall pretty easy, I started out on normal,was at the boss on my second try, beat it the third. Now I win nearly any game I start with most ships, but yet my score is only about 40/120 games won, why? About 60 failed attempts with Stealth B, the best I ever managed was sector 4!

Forgetting to wait for the cloak cooldown to reset before jumping has killed me SO many times with stealth b

Hope they patch that particular issue; at least for when you're in safe sectors.
