My biggest problem with the stealth ship is ... that I still can't find the bloody thing. And I even got the crystal ship the other day.

I finally beat normal with Stealth B recently. The first upgrade I got was adding one weapon upgrade. This allows for you to survive errant shots to your weapons room, which makes everything a lot more stable.
