This is an exploit I encountered in which crew members could be saved by interrupting their death animation. I had neglected to pull two Slug crew members out of a deoxygenated room, but as soon as I heard their death cries, I quickly paused the game. I found that even though they were in the middle of their death animation, they both still had 1 HP left, and even stranger, I could still select them and set a path for them to follow (in this case, out of the deoxygenated room). I saved and quit the game, restarted, and the Slugs had advanced on their path to a small degree, before resuming their death animation. I simply repeated pausing, saving and quitting, and restarting the game, and little by little, the Slugs worked their way out of harm.
