Any plans for multiplayer or anything?
From what I can see, the game is not multiplayer yet. Any chance that is ever going to be added?

There's almost no chance. The game was designed for a single player experience. It's not just a matter of coding: the rules of the game would have to change so much, it would be a different game.

The only way I could see FTL being multiplayer would be as a mod, or as just a "duel" type fight between two players who select saved ships from singleplayer games.
