Register on Steam?

Post by EvilWayne »

I bought the DRM-free version, but I was thinking of registering it on Steam to get updates and what not more easily.
But I'm wondering if this will somehow invalidate my DRM-free version? Will I no longer have access to the download later (e.g., will the linked page be deleted)?

Thanks

Excellent.
I want to keep in a copy on my laptop for travel, and I really don't want to have to connect to Steam at that point.

Thanks!

I dont understand what DRM-free version you bought and where? I'm not sure about this but i have read that Steam version of FTL is not DRM-free, but that may have changed recently.

He bought the Humble-Bundle (aka front page) version. It is DRM-free, but includes a key to redeem on Steam.
So you basically get 2 in price of 1, best of both worlds.

It's been said, but I'll just confirm that you can definitely register the Steam code as well as use your DRM-free links forever. We wanted to make it as easy and convenient as possible for our customers :)
