There is no official wiki. I hate wikia (the company), so I'd probably favor the former. That's just me, though.

ftlwiki has more accurate info, ripped straight from the game files. It seems to be edited mostly by one guy who's a hacker.
ftl.wikia.com has lots of old wives tale, inaccurate or plainly wrong data. Like all wikias, it's edited by swarm of "look what I've discovered" folks.

Here's a professional tip from a several year wikia veteran editor.
If it's a wikia, it's gonna suck. Stick with wiki.
