Rest in peace, crew of the Codexia XII. Even though you were lost to the void in sector seven, you still somehow managed to unlock the Nisos. It was probably for the best, though, as your weapons were complete and utter shit and any ship with four shields would've annihilated you.
Seriously, though, people are going to cheat in this game regardless of whether an autosave feature is implemented or not. All you accomplish by not implementing an autosave feature is screwing over players that have legitimate crashes.
Why no autosave?

You're doing it wrong.Icehawk78 wrote: Again, I repeat myself:Icehawk78 wrote:Your "solution", really, isn't. "Get a better computer and/or just don't do what you're doing." Thanks, but having the games I want to play dictate how to use my computer isn't helpful. Ultimately, all you're really saying is "I don't have a problem with this. If you do, I don't give a shit."

No one is dictating how you use your computer. But if you choose to use it wrong, then deal with it and don't complain.

Re: Why no autosave?
I can't think of any viable reason to argue about this feature considering:
FTL is a single player game and this feature would be optional (You do not have to reload the autosave).
Anybody who wants to cheat/savescum is already doing so.
