Idea: Teleporting Around Your Own Ship

Teleporters currently only allow you to teleport to and from enemy ships. Why not let them teleport your crew around your own ship as well?

Could be a handy way of immediately dispatching a team to deal with a boarding party, bypass burning or vacuum areas, and you could it to pull your crew out of danger right at the last section.

In Star Trek they beam around their own ship all the time. So this is in theme as well.

It sounds like a great idea, there have been so many times I wish I could of teleported to a section where I was needed fast.

I think the reason it isn't currently in the game is because I dont think many people would bother to use it, and it seems a little bit unnecessary, you can still walk through rooms that are on fire or have no oxygen.

Good idea though, would love to see it in the game.
