I know from experience that many augments can't be doubled because the game notifies you that when you collect a second one, it is scrapped. I was surprised to notice that I had obtained two Scrap Arms today. Is this a bug? I had assumed that NO augments could be stacked, but I guess I can understand how one like this could be allowed to stack.
Can provide image and save file if needed, but it's late.

Any augment that you can get two of will stack. Any augment that won't stack, the game will not let you get two of them... either from a store or from a random event.
