FTL and screen resolution 1024x600

I heard it's imposibble to scale this game down to my netbook screen resolution, but I'm going to trawel with train on firday for many, many houers, so I would like to have some funn with FTL, but I couldn't found any trick to fit this game to my screen resolution. Could you help? :)
