When accepting surrenders, shots that I fired that are in mid-flight will magically miss my enemy. However their shots in mid-flight will still hit me. Shouldn't these shots be treated the same for both sides?
It also seems that when the ai cloaks against my mid-flight shots, they always miss, but when I try it, I still get hit half the time.

I would love to get surrender scrap and the salvage scrap because they gave up while I had two halberd beams raking their hull. The reason you aren't dodging all of the shots with stealth is because you don't have enough power to your engines / a pilot. It only gives about 60% dodge so you need other stuff to get in the un hit able area.
send me a message with a link if you see spam and I will take care of it.

Either that or make the enemy's shots miss as well after accepting a surrender. It is a litte irritating to accept a surrender and then have some enemy shots hit and do some hull damage. That cost me scrap to fix!Drasha wrote:I would love to get surrender scrap and the salvage scrap because they gave up while I had two halberd beams raking their hull. So all the enemy ships in the game have a non-stealth evade of 40%+ ? My ship at the time had a 30%, which should make it a 90% when stealthed. Enemy fired missiles seemed to hit 50%, not 10% of the time. I didn't actually keep track, so it may have been just my perception. However they seemed to hit more often than not. It was certainly much more than 1 in 10. I eventually was able to buy a defense drone and didn't have to deal with it anymore. So it was only a handful of fights, so the sample size wasn't really large. Maybe I just had bad luck.

You aren't magically dodging a laser because the person who shot it surrendered mid flight. There's no reason why it shouldn't hit you. It doesn't matter if it does hit an enemy ship after a surrender, because they no longer have anything to do with you after that point. An enemy ship can surrender and still blow up, it won't give you any extra scrap.DrunkZombie wrote:Either that or make the enemy's shots miss as well after accepting a surrender. One big issue is when you're stealthing. If you stealth after the missile has gotten close enough that it's decided if it's going to miss, the point where it'll say miss as it flies by, then it's going to hit despite stealthing before the actual impact. The impact was decided already and you can't stop it past that point.
