Changing in-game event font color

Hello!

I've been searching for several hours for an answer to this question, but I cannot seem to find one. If I missed an answer that was previously posted on this forum, I would greatly appreciate a point in that direction.

I was wondering if there is a way to change the color of the font when events appear. I'm both legally blind and getting old, and my eyes can't really deal with white text on a light gray background anymore. I've increased the text size to maximum, but that doesn't really help. I did see one thread mentioning a font modding tool, but that seemed to be more for adding different language alphabets into the game rather than changing the font color.

So is there a way to change the font color to be darker? Or, failing that, is there a way to make the light gray background of the event window black? Either would make it a lot easier for me to read the text in this game.

Again, any assistance is greatly appreciated!

I believe that font color can be changed, but it is much easier to change the background. Here is a simple mod that I did in just a couple of minutes.

I'm not aware of any way to change the text colour, but you can definitely change the event window colour.
