Could we get an option to revert to the old UI?

I love this game and have played it since launch. I recently tried playing again only to find out that the UI was butchered. For whatever reason all the text buttons were replaced by hieroglyphs. Not only does it look worse, it also makes switching between menus slower (as I can read words far faster than I can interpret pictographs). It seems odd that the old UI was removed from the game entirely with no option to change it back.
