Mac Cheats

Earlier today I noticed a Trainer for PC, not wanting to leave my fellow mac users out I created a few cheats for mac as well. Everything you need is in the download which includes "The Cheat" a mac app that lets you modify the games memory while it's running and a few pre-made cheats so you don't have to spend the time hunting them down.

There are instruction in the archive, but it's pretty simple to use. Also include is some simple instructions on finding any creating more cheats, if you find some post them here and I'll add them to the download when I get time.

The cheats included are; 8 power to the engines, 8 power to the shields, 20 fuel, 30 Hull, 64 Robotic Parts, 64 Rockets, and 256 Scrap.

One thing to note that isn't in the instructions included: either of the power cheats give you the ability to go over max ship power. Simple un-power your weapons or shields, enable the appropriate cheat, then un-power them again. You'll keep adding to your power reserve, well over the maximum it will show, allowing you to apply max power to the entire ship at once.

I installed The Cheat, followed the instructions exactly, and nothing happened. Did I miss something?

What version of the game are you playing (the DRM free from the devs site or the steam version)?

I managed to be successful by searching for the memory strings. It seems that the cheat files are different (and they change depending on the ship used...)

btw, I'm using the drm free version.

And I learned today each time you launch the game, so you'll aways have to find them again.
At least there easy to find.
