Dissapearing Quest Marker

Hi,
Due to the game policy on saving I was not able to replicate or test this bug, I have definately experienced it once but I may have come accross it twice.

I had an event to escort a merchant ship to a location (about 5 jumps). Two jumps from the quest marker, I saved the game and quit. When I reloaded the game.. my quest marker had disappeared. I went to the location where the quest marker had been and there was an ambush event.

So... Do quests have a time limit? or did bug loose the quest?

Quests will disappear on reloading - at least they disappear for me.So quit&save basically terminates all active quests.

I'm not aware of that bug. I'll check it out. Sorry about that guys.
