Now I know it says that they are immune to Water but If I freeze a Hive Leader and get it in the water that should still be a Kill. Considering that in order to do that I need both a Freeze Weapon and a weapon with push that deals no damage, which the Frozen Titans does not have and thus you need to either use a custom squad or find a suitable weapon should be enough of a balancing factor.

Why should freezing an Alpha and dropping it in water kill it?
Should the same be true for your own Mechs if they fall in the water while frozen?

Yeah, that doesn't make sense. The attribute that makes them immune is called "massive", not "buoyant".
