How do you start the game? Maybe open a console, change to your FTL directory and ./FTL from there. I'm also getting nervous seeing blanks in file and directory names, so to be on the very safe side you could rename your directory to just FTL, as opposed to 'FTL Faster Than Light'.

Yeah, that is how I start the game. Also, changing the folder name to FTL did nothing, it still shows the same error
