Weapons stop charging when enemy ship cloaks

This doesn't seem to make sense. If the enemy cloaks, wouldn't my weapons still charge, just not be able to fire?

Well, than imagine that weapons don't "charge", but "aim" on the enemy's ship.

It's done that way for balance reasons, it makes the cloak more usefull (for you and the enemy). It isn't logical, but sometimes logic gets in the way
There is an aug that allows your weapons to work normally, i forgot what it's called...

No, there isn't. Maybe you meant Stealth Weapons aug, but it is a completely different thing.

you could pretend thats the charging is just actualy geting good aim at the enemy ship just so it seems more realalistic

Actually it's not aiming system, why? because when there are no enemy around your weapon still charged anyway. the weapon not lock unto something it just charge the energy. Weapon doesn't charge when ship cloaks is not realistic but i think it's understandable for gameplay purpose.

In any case this is not a bug, as it works the same for the enemies weapons and there is a tooltip saying something to this effect about the cloaking system.
