There isn't a way to teleport to a room on your own ship, is there? I could see this being useful for fending off boarders, having your squishier types escaping from them, or quickly getting past an area you opened to vacuum for some reason.

Unfortunately no. You can however, target your ship with your own bombs. If you have blast doors you may even wish to breach bomb a corridor to help suffocate the invaders a bit.

Why is there no intra-ship teleport?

I really don't think it would be useful very often if you could, considering whatever minor travel time it saves you would be offset by the inconvienience of it using up power while it cools down. It wouldn't save very much damage to your crew with how quickly you can move from one end of the ship to the other unless your entire ship was vacuumed or something.
