Minor annoyance / easy fix!

First of all, LOVE this game.
Okay, here's my problem: Sifting through the same old mission plots over and over gets boring and monotonous. Solution: How about for every new mission or encounter you find, highlight the text in red indicating that you've already read it and you can easily skip the details. Also, another way to further streamline this would be to add icons to the mission text window that indicate whether the encounter is a fight or something else entirely. For example, if you run into a rebel ship, have a little skull and crossbones in the bottom right corner of the text window indicating that you're forced to fight, therefore it's optional to read the text, especially if it's highlighted in red, meaning you've read it before. If it's a positive encounter with friendlies, there could be a thumbs-up in the corner or something.
I feel like these minor additions would really enhance the replay aspect of this game. It would eliminate the tedium of scanning over text that you've read a hundred times before, sometimes missing out on key details just because you're ready to bypass the info and get to the fight.
