i really need help i tried for like 13 hours to unlock the slug ship! 1. go to slug home (rare) 2. have a level 2 sensor 3.find a slug ship and let him surrender and ask for data 4. go to the questmarker and tail the ship! I TRIED 1000 times but balls it up everytime! however i would kill to get this ship! can anybody post sav.file (ps how can i install these?) where you have unlocked the ship? but not these cheaty ones wich have all ships unlocked! or can anybody give me instructions how i can hack the game! Or a ship unlocker??? JUST HELP ME!!!

I encourage you not to use it, though. These things are supposed to be tough!

i have unlocked the slug ship and it was surprisingly simple. i unlocked it using level 2 sensors

first: on what stage does your attempt fail every time, or is it different stages?
second: make sure you take the blue option when tailing the cruiser and its escort
third: when fighting the escort MAKE SURE you keep his engines/helm down so he cannot jump away, if you fail to do this, you will lose your chance every time.

on an amusing note: when i unlocked the slug cruiser the first ship put a quest marker in the next sector. when i got there, although the beacon wasnt in a nebula, when i got there, it was suddenly a nebula! a minor bug i think needs to be fixed.

I just got lucky. i had been trying to unlock it for a really long time. Then in one of my normal playthroughs i went to the slug nebula, and I had long ranged sensors(incredibly useful augment) found the ship that surrender and offered me data, and when that happened i bought sensors lvl 2. Fighting the ship was easy i was using the kestral A(i was still a beginner at the game) I just used the artemis on its engines, and burst lasered its shield.
