When i play it gets to the create the space ship and crew and i click continue and Then it Frezez and goes to the desktop.

look for a folder called "crashlogs" where you installed FTL and see if there's anything there.

i bought the steam one

Then you must have one of these two directories on your computer. This is where the game executable and data are stored:

- C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\FTL Faster Than Light
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FTL Faster Than Light

Do you know how to display them and look at what they contain? There should be three interesting things in there:

- stdout.txt (file)
- stderr.txt (file)
- crashlogs (directory)

Can you copy/paste the contents of stdout.txt and stderr.txt in this forum? (stderr.txt might be empty, this is not a problem).

Also, are there any files in the crashlogs directory? If yes, can you copy/paste the most recent on in this forum?
