I've just captured 2 enemy ships in a row, using 4 pad teleport and a pair of boarding drones, after each fight the game only returns 1 drone part (+1).

With the third ship, it did not return any drone parts, it in fact displayed as: +1 drone parts, and a fraction of a second later -1 drone parts, its as if its adding one for the first drone, but then subtracting 1 for the second drone.


Is this a bug?

Drone recovery arm doesnt reclaim repair and boarding drones.

This bug has nothing to do with the drone recovery arm.

Though its possible I've made a mistake, while i was able to replicate it earlier, after restarting it no longer happens, will update if changes.

AFAIK, you don't get +1 drones back for a boarding drone that survives. You'd just been lucky in getting drone parts as "loot drops".
