It wasn't such an amazing run by itself but I was impressed with my luck and the setup I had during the final boss.
Three Burst Laser IIs, Weapon Pre-igniter, Stealth Weapons and almost fully upgraded ship. Engines were the only system I didn't manage to fully upgrade.
Of course This was all on easy.
Best part for me was unlocking "Is it warm in here?" achievement which is a step towards unlocking the rock cruiser B.
Edit: I'm stupid. For some reason I read you said Burst Laser 3.
Burst Laser II is actually better. It gives a 3 shots for 2 power and 12 second cooldown.
Burst Laser III gives 5 shots for 4 power and 19 second cooldown.
With the setup in this thread I was able to shoot 10 lasers with a low cooldown and the Heavy Laser deals 2 damage on hit.
In theory for 7 power bars I could deal 11 damage in one barrage.
That's more damage per volley than two Burst Laser IIIs which require 8 power bars and 19 second cooldown.
