I cant remember where I was but I got asked to give supplies to someone, I had the option to give a little, give a lot, or do nothing, I chose to give a lot and this is the dialogue that popped up. I assume its a bug and not those Engis messing with me

That's the joke. Engi are robotic, so they couldn't calculate your generosity, or some other jibber-jabber.

It's the engi's way of not being able to put it's gratitude to you into words.
