Welcome to the forum.

The boss like to cheat, what can i say. It's purpose is to deny you the satisfaction of beating the game. By any means. It's still not as bad as running out of ammo and being unable to destroy it at all. :(

Wow, unluckly is all i have to say. :(

Do u take quicker to die than the boss? Because I know his death takes a long time for the 'you won' screen to come up.
If so, then its just another way that U CAN'T WIN THIS GAME.

And in not being able to beat the boss, how about have a very OP boarding ship and then running out of stuff to shoot on the final level while they have the energy shields up. :x

This should count as victory. In Soviet Russia, your crew would get postmortem "Hero of the Soviet Union" medals.

I think there should be an achievement "Hero of the Federeation" for defeating the boss while giving away your life.

Sounds like an achievement that nobody would like to unlock.

Well, just like the "astronomically low odds".
It's not something that you grind for, it's something that may happen to you.
