[Suggestion] Choose which crew to send over

I don't think I've seen this one before.
In many events, you can choose to send some crew take a risk. The gamble is that if things go wrong, you lose your crew, among other bad consequences. Currently, you cannot chose which crew member goes. My suggestion is that you should be able to do so!
I have two main reasons for this:
- In terms of gameplay, it would help alleviate some feelings of randomness players have been complaining about; you still take a significant risk, but you can choose between your experienced pilot or the rookie you just hired.
- In terms of game-universe logic, isn't it obvious the captain should be able to choose who is sent on a mission?!
Of course, for many events, pure randomness would remain; the raving lunatic you took as passenger is not going to ask who to kill.
An extension of this idea is that the odds of some events could be made dependent on crew skill (with hints in the event description), so you could decide to send the most appropriate crew member.
