A Question and a Suggestion

Been wondering for a while now, if I were to zoom through, say, sector one and leave the rebel fleet in the dust, would that carry over to the next sector? Would I still be ages ahead?
And now my suggestion: Perhaps you guys could allow us to see all the ships we've ever created and the stats to go with it. That would be super cool
. Other then that, some more character names, events, sectors, alternate game modes, a hardcore mode or a higher difficulty? All of those are the obvious ones, and I'm sure you'll eventually get around to it.
Edit: Also! More character options too! More hair colours (styles if you want, doesn't really matter. All I want is my purple haired cyclops.) And perhaps you could place the ship's name on the side so you can see it while you're ingame. That would be fancy
