Yeah the title sums it up, this game is so damn addicting. Great job on it! (I'm not bragging, I just wanted to emphasize how good this game is )


My only suggestion(s) would be to have hardware mouse cursor, higher native res, and tablet support would be wonderful too but I understand your game engine has limitations. But considering this was only made by 2 people (3 including sound) I think this is astonishing the amount of quality work was put into it that makes it rival games with entire teams of developers. Keep up the great work guys

but yes, FTL is most addicting. Somehow, the 'simple-looking' games turn out to be the most enjoyable/complex ones.
Or maybe it's procedurally-generated world/events?

Sorry I didn't see the discussion forum. I'd move the thread if i could. And yeah it's crazy how this is more addicting than AAA titles like borderlands2 lol

I have moved the thread.

For me its somewhat similar, I play mostly old classics like Orion 2 or Imperialism. But FTL is the first game in a long while that I like better than the old greats. This has not hapened to me in years. The last time was Fantasy Wars and Kings Bounty, but those were just remakes, FTL is all new!

This game is about the content, not about the production value. Although - I gotta say, the way they did the sound track, was pretty high production value!
