[WIP] Rebel Recolors v 0.3.5 [Weapon Textures]

Hello! Thanks for checking out my first mod - Rebel Recolors. The goal of this mod is to re-color weapons used by Rebel ships. It will also eventually add events based on the recolored weapons.

***THIS MOD IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. IT IS NOT YET A COMPLETE VERSION AND SOME BUGS MAY EXIST.***

Rebel Recolors

So, what does it do?
This mod adds some completely new weapons. The weapons in question are recolored versions of vanilla weapons that can be normally found on Rebel ships. They function completely identically to the vanilla variants of the weapons. The color scheme I am going for is the signature bright orange and bright teal of the Rebels. The weapons are not currently obtainable without the use of external programs.

This mod is the first finished product I am producing. It is largely a simple learning experience for me. In addition, the mod is currently a work in progress, and more features are planned to be added. If you have any suggestions, please comment them below!

What exactly have you added so far?
Recolored Weapons:
  • Leto Missiles (and projectile)
    Artemis Missiles (and projectile)
    Hermes Missiles (and projectile)
    Breach Missiles (and projectile)
    Basic Laser
    Dual Lasers
    Burst Laser I
    Burst Laser II
    Burst Laser III
Events:
  • None yet :/
What else are you planning to do with this mod?
  • Recolor all Rebel weapons
    Events to obtain Rebel colored weapons
    Blue options for Rebel weapons
    Rebel weapons can be dropped by Rebel ships (don't know if this is possible, can someone tell me?)
    Fix bugs, of course!
Are there any known issues with the mod?
  • None currently
Is it compatible with other mods?
I have no idea. If you find anything out, please let me know. It should not be compatible with big mods like CE or Infinite Space, but basic ship mods should work with it. I think loading this mod first is best.

Changelog:
v 0.3.5: Fixed a bug where Rebel Breach Missiles were purchasable in stores and findable in events
v 0.3: Added burst laser textures, the Kestrel type B now starts with Rebel basic lasers
v 0.2: Updated to .append file format, file size reduced from about 7.5 MB to about 35 KB and compatibility improved
v 0.1.5: Improved missile launcher and missile textures
v 0.1: Added missile launchers and missile textures, rebel weapons replace vanilla variants on rebel ships

I'm not able to try it at the moment, but you should probably put this in Mod Development, since it is a WIP.

I wasn't sure if I should, as it is working, but it isn't finished. I think I'll just leave it here, but if a mod wants to move it than that's fine.

Not using .append, so file size could be reduced further
You have to have .append! If you don't, it causes conflicts with other mods. (I assume so at the least) (and would override the other vanilla .xml files, but it appears you have compensated for this)

Otherwise, pretty interesting concept.

I'd recommend you PM mr_easy_money for help with events.

That's what I'll focus on changing next, but I think as long as you load my mod first it won't conflict.

I'm pretty sure it will override the other mod's files -- Forgot to mention that. (I had only mentioned vanilla's files)

I've updated it to use .append - as well as adding some new textures :)

Version 0.3.5 released: fixed a bug where you could purchase Rebel Breach Missiles and find them
