Just a small praise...

I just signed in to say to all those involved in the development of this game: Thank you!

I have been having a hard time living since I got it. In spite the fact that I completed it twice already (The Torus - normal, The Osprey - normal) and reached the flagship three more times I'm sill yearning to press that "new game" button over again.

In my last playthrough as the Osprey I managed to board the flagship into death (I'ts not that hard actually, If you have the "lockdown" lad), only for an AI to take over. Until that time I was certain I was gonna win. I boarded the weapon chambers one by one until she was a sitting duck. I than proceeded to kill her crew one or maybe two at a time with my Crystal-Rock away team combo. By the time I was killing the last survivor I thought: "Well this was easy, I only took I hull damage during the entire fight".

This, naturally - brought the ship back from the dead as the AI kicked in and started repairing all her systems. I quicky teleported into the shields room, took them down and destroyed the ship with some more damage to me. In the next two stages the "auto-repair" of the AI, slow as it is, coupled with the special weapons defeated me with 2 hull points remaining on the third stage. It was literally down to the last volley, neither of us had any shields and I had to survive a 3 - missile volley while waiting for my laser to recharge to finish them off. I had one hull point left and exactly 9% chance of victory at this point (45% dodge, 3 enemy missiles, 1 hull point). The first missile hit and my ship was destroyed. Still, this was not due to poor luck, mind you - I made a few wrong calls during the third stage which cost me valuable time. As close as it gets. :ugeek:

So, thank you again for this beautiful piece of work that is on it's way to becoming a cult classic - no doubt about it!

I have to agree.... already have some great "losing stories" from this game. Where you can pick out where you screwed it all up. Sometimes you do lose to luck, but it's pretty rare.

You have made an awesome game. Please make expansion packs, I will throw money at you.

One tip, leave the laser turret alone or keep it disabled with ion, but make sure the gunner stays alive, that way the ai never kicks in, makes the fight a joke.
