Latest version wiped achievements and ships [steam]

So I booted up FTL on steam today and I found that both plans of my Engi ship and achievements were gone, was this from the latest update? Did anyone else run into this problem? I'm fine with playing again because I didn't have much but if this sort of instability is going to happen every time the game updates I'm a little hesitant to play.

Do you play on multiple machines? I noticed steam was syncing my saves now. It should have warned you of a conflict or something if that was the problem, though.
My stuff's all there, so hopefully it won't happen again.

It could have been Steam's cloud switch, they turn on auto-cloud without any warning to us or the users.
But there's also been some very rare cases of save file corruption. If you email me (
zasdarq@ftlgame.com) with of list of what you had unlocked, I'd be happy to make a new profile file for you. I'm very sorry about this.
