Hello!Got the game on September 23 and love playing it. I've played about a total of 16 hours and was about to start up the game again today. But after it loaded it up I got a white screen. :[ It was weird because when I logged into Steam, I saw something being downloaded to FTL and so I assumed it was an update. Pressed the play button, waited for it to load up, and white screen.

So I just found to forums right now and looked for people who had similar problems and only see 2 people having it (HaloFlare and Ahogedono). I've read their posts and I guess this update that I saw on Steam was to fix the white screen problem, but it just damaged my game.

Hello. Like Ahogedono, can you please post your stdout.txt that should be in the same folder as your FTL install? HaloFlare was having this problem before the patch so his issue will involve a different solution than yours.

Haha had the same trouble finding the stdout.txt like him but finally found it:
