Ok, so with all the story telling >< im loveing it all, so i decided, the next FTL play, i will record all my Action, and have 8 Chapters (correspond with 8 Sector), if i make it that far, I will play on Normal, and record everything to my victory. or early death ><, so im wondering which ship should i use 1st?

Well, my opinion is choose the ship you prefer. you tend to do better. But, for the sake of arguement i would choose the stealth cruiser.

Choose a B layout other than the Red Tail.

Hmm, well ill do a Mantis Type B, cause its my favriot (not my best, but one of the 3 ships i have beat the game in)

Well depends on what kind of story you want to write ?

A ship you are not familiar with will make an interesting story (as if the captain was thrown in with a rag tag crew and told to "figure it out!") Would be a nice angle although it might end dramatically too soon !

If your goal is the story, then maybe a ship with cloak, teleporting, etc giving a large variety of different events to occur simultaneously.

I guess to each his poison but my favorite would be the mantis layout B as it has been the most nerv wrecking with boarding drones, half my crew battling on the enemy ship while the other try to keep the ship together !

As a general rule, B layouts are more specialized than A layouts. To me, this makes them more challenging or fun, since the end result can be more extravagant too (normal run with the Fed Cruiser B completed, with preigniter and double auto-reloader, without drone syustem. For the lulz, decided to take the 2nd phase of the boss with fire beam +3 bombs: ion, breach II and Fire, and he got destroyed.

I finish the Mantis Type B, i wil Try Fed Type B next... so wish me luck. (ugh ain't that good at writing ><)
