I like naming my ship and crew members. I think most other people do too.

Right now it's really awkward. Make it easier to do this.

"Easy" changes with low impact:
If I click the "Rename" button, it should blank out the textbox. I shouldn't have to backspace to erase it.
I should be able to push "Enter" when typing in the name to say I'm done, rather than clicking "Accept".

Bigger changes:
Be able to create personnel and remember them, so at the beginning of a game I can choose who I want easily.
Be able to create re-useable personnel or ship configurations.

Just some ideas.

Accept is to accept the whole thing. You HAVE to press enter to stop entering the name. At least in my experience.

Are you sure you want to keep naming your crew members? One day or another, one of those crew members will die... Lets say this is your face when your crew member dies After the battle and finally when you become calm again
