As soon as I saw the hull, I'm like "Gotta fly that!"

Then as soon as I saw the Repair Arm in my augmentations, I'm like "Why?"
Why is there a Scrap Sucker 5000?

Also, 4 weapon power but only 2 weapons power is used at the start? Nerf that.

Mini beam is also OP. No power needed and instant charge. Once shields are gone, enemy ships are dead.

So I flew the ship for a bit (an hour or so) and here's my conclusions:

Mini Beam needs a charge time. It's OP as hell and can crash the game if fired rapidly enough.
Room glows are out of alignment for all rooms. The control panel is glowing on other squares or above the control panel.
Cloaking seems to have the image for piloting
Mind Control's images are in the room below the MC area.
Airlocks man! There needs to be more airlocks! Right now the only way to deal with intruders is to drain the shields towards the medbay or the Weapons or Engines. It takes forever to flush intruders out of inner rooms like the oxygen or Cloaking.
Lastly, the ship is a bit far to the right. When it comes to the Flagship battle, the front part of the ship just lines up with the box. Most ships don't do that.

P.S. As a personal preference, the guns should be further out, but if that's the intent (for a more compact look of weapons deployment) then awesome.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll get to working on your suggestions.

I get the mini beam problem, I gave it the drone beam instead of the actual mini beam by accident.
I can alter the rooms glows
I had previously fixed the room problem, but Superluminal has a bit of a weird save function
Cloaking has the same problem I believe, but can be fixed
I got Dual Lasers mixed up with Burst Laser Mk 1 in my head, thinking mini beam, leto + dual = 4. I can nerf
Sure, I can do more airlocks
I can move the ship, it's a bit far to the right in the starting hangar too
Guns could use shifting, I agree

I'm glad you like the hull, and I'll work on improving the bugs. Oh, and what would you suggest as a starting augment? If it gets one at all

Ok, fixed all the bugs and now have Paladin v1.3. Here's the link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/we61fkhdm6wj5 ... 3.ftl?dl=0

is it just me or can I only see the hull when the ship jumps? otherwise it's just a large black rectangle...
am I missing something?

tips to organize your post:
make a version history so put all download links in the title post
changelog? you can use the "Code" function for this
for the image of the hull, make the link in "http://i.imgur.com/G0a7VLw.png" format with Img tags
about this, it may be better to take a picture of it ingame in the hangar

I like the symmetry of the rooms

That's a graphical glitch. I am going to take a guess and say the ship's "floor" png image is just a blank image.

To fix it, replace the current floor image with something that has at least one pixel of "non blank". A black dot will do. Or Superluminal's "create the floor image" which I've found to be quite slick.

This only affects certain users, which is why the author never realized it.
