Hello World this is my first topic and i want to start with something traditionalish like "Your Fuck you ftl Moments"
So i am doing weird flagship fights and victorys and all that stuff. I will start the hopefully new tradiationish thing with my weirdest.

I was flying the Shrike. I hade made it to sector 8 and had a good run. I was mauling the flagship with my lanius boarders despite having a mantis and crystal (#descent to Darkness # Great mod) i also had my Light Chain Vulcan (#CE) killing the crew. And then the crew is all dead. i All happy that i won and then i was reminded that the flagship has a AI. and my lanius just don't give a shit about no O2 . Soon after i won by a shot with the fiery plasma. Right as the boarders beamed out. NOTE
The boarders were awesome. I will always remember Yin And Yang. Because i have a screen shot but lost it to steam

My craziest Flagship fight was with my own modded ship, the Potential.

Oh I'll just tell it. I showed up at the Flagship with 5 total shots (2 basics and 3 heavies) as my ONLY OFFENSE. No teleporter. No offensive drones. This was before AE so no hacking or mind control, but I also didn't have to deal with them on the flagship.

I muddled through the first phase with little trouble. The Heavies' ability to start fires helped a lot (I think. I hadn't upgraded scanners either), but the problems started in the 2nd phase, with the drones.

In the 2nd phase, I could never land all 5 shots no matter how many times I shot. And my 2 defense drones couldn't shoot ANYTHING so was continually getting peppered. I got down to 2 hull points when - finally - I knocked his shield down to 3. Then 2. Then shields were gone. Then I destroyed the flagship. With 2 hull points after doing NOTHING to it for about 4 minutes.

Then for the finale, I snuck around and hit a repair station so I'd have 17 hull when I took on phase 3. Turns out, I didn't need it. Phase 3 went down like a pinata, and I won the game with all 17 of those hull points.
