We're developing not really a mod but writing a game from scratch with lot of inspiration from FTL.

Hm? Not sure what, "the main thing we added FTL" means, please elaborate.

I think Soda is saying "We're designing a game and we need advertising. Let's pitch our idea into the FTL forums and see if anyone is interested!"
