Hello. I bought the game with Steam and installed it on one of my computers without problems. Nice game. But trying to install it on another comp with the same steam account I’m getting the message “Troubles with installing FTL (No connection to content server)”. Please help. Steam support remains silent
I tried to copy the folder FTL faster than light from one comp to another, but launching ftlgame.exe leads to installation attempt with the same failure.

Are you sure you're online with this second computer? You can try to switch Steam servers by going to Steam->Settings->"Downloads+Cloud" tab->Download region. That will sometimes fix that problem. Restarting Steam/wait an hour and it can go away on its own as well. Steam seems like it's pretty picky sometimes about working.

The problem was with our proxy settings, but that affected only one game - FTL. Other games are being installed correctly. *shrugs*
