I am new to this thread, Hello everyone!!! and i would like to know how to make a ship hull image for superluminal. So there is no white stuff, probably a silly question but still its annoying. Also for ship interiors is there a way to get the vanilla ones? Thank you!

Get something like GIMP. I'll refer to GIMP for the rest of this...

Select > Select by color. Select, well, the white background.
Layer > Transparency > Color to Alpha.
