This is the Zoltan Peace Cruiser. I dont have a picture of it yet but i will get one soon.
It has 9 power bars and has:
Shield(2 power)
engine(1 power)
Medbay(1 power)
Pilot(lvl 1)
Weapons (3 power)
Doors(lvl 2)
sensors(lvl 1)
Oxygen(1 power)
Can have:
Teleport
Drones
Cloak
It has the zoltan shield augment. Weapons: Dual shot laser and Artemis missile.
Crew:
1 Mantis
1 Human
1 Zoltan
1 Engi
It replaces the zoltan cruiser type A.

Indeed. It's generally bad form to swipe someone's work and repaint it, unless you've specifically gained their permission to do so (and in that event, say so up front in your OP). Granted, some modders are more touchy about that than others, but as a general courtesy I would advise against using other modders' work - The Shipyard being a notable exception as its purpose is to provide resources for just that reason.

It is exactly the same one.
The pattern is identical- the only difference, other than a few slug ship parts, is that you altered the colors slightly.

knowing the mod author for that mod... he is kind of not active anymore, if he asked for permission and he didn't reply (for obvious reasons) he can use it as long as he credits him...

But still, It seems... 'off'.

I disagree. The fact that someone is inactive in the forum does in no way make his/her creations free to use for everyone. Also no credit was given to begin with.

It was pretty unique and part of a mod series thing, it was uniquely designed and stuff.
I think people should put copy rights or fair use on all there mods to prevent situations like these. Kind of like what you did Sleeper on Captains Edition, because there is a difference from using someones recourse and modifying it and giving credit, to someone using a nearly not edited or modified piece of work with no credit.
