I ran out of fuel and had a Slug trader respond to my distress signal. He tried to sell me 5 fuel for 50 scrap; not really wanting to push my luck, I accepted. I actually got 10 fuel. The flavor text had him being surprised at my willingness to accept his prices, so perhaps he was over-generous in his shock.
