Boarding drone lost with drone recovery arm installed

Drone recovery arm augment description states not destroyed drones recovered after battle but boarder drones doesnt seem to comply and lost after each succesful boarding of enemy ship. Cant it fly back or something?

As far as I'm aware no offensive drones are recovered.

Last time i checked all not destroyed drones except boarding drone give back spent drone schematic then you have drone recovery arm installed and jump out.

Not sure about boarder drone, but I have always gotten my attack drones back when using this aug.

Edit: Due to the description I would assume you get your boarder drone back as long as it is still alive.

I remember them specifically patching out the ability to recover the boarding drone. Presumably because it's inside the other ship. Would be hazardous to try and pluck it out.

Well - then its working as intended. Just strange to abandon drone aboard empty enemy ship and fly away, especially then your ship have teleporter and can in theory bring it back

What's weirder is that you don't recover enemy boarder drones. I had one in the weapons room for a couple of jumps.
but Emma kept complaining it looked at her funny, so she shot it...
Had a repair bot thrundling about, but all it did was patch the hole the boarder drone made, then went back to his room. Didn't even glance at his hapless botbuddy...

Yeah, Anti-Personell, Boarding and Repair Drones aren't recovered. AP and Repair can heal in the Drone Controll room though.
