Help getting certain ships?

So i really want to unlock the Zoltan ship and the crystal one. Most people now how to get them but can anyone tell me a way to QUICKLY get them? Thanks in advance

The quickest way to get them is to review the conditions for obtaining them (try
http://ftl.wikia.com/wiki/Ships for that data), and using that to make specific runs aiming to unlock the ships you want.

The Zoltan one is pretty easy to get. Should only take 2-3 runs. Use the stealth ship on easy and avoid battles/distress signals in Zoltan sectors. If you don't have the stealth ship, try to get a long range scanner.
The crystal one is pure luck and is a giant pita to get. Most of the time the sector generation alone stops you getting it (sectors in the wrong order, no rock homeworlds, etc etc).
