How did you put that many holes in his hull?

Captain's edition - notice those are Light and Missile Defense drones, and that those hull breaches have occurred without damaging the systems, so my educated guess is repeated hits with Light lasers to knock holes in the hull and kill all but one of the crew. Still, that is a work of art and psychosis - being me, I would target those lasers just on the remaining Engi and finish it long before this point.

And then proceed to cut up rebel flag ship like a pizza with it.

..you realize you've absolutely curbstomped the flagship and literally no ship is a potential threat. Thanks for the Zoltan shield, it's basically a pre-igniter. And all the Hull missiles, their DPS puts all other missiles to shame.

...your ship is on fire from stem to stern, hull integrity is at 5%, the life support system is a pile of ash, rebel marines are carving a path of destruction through your ship, and your surviving three crewmembers are trapped in the drone control room, desperately trying to keep the last drones semi-operational.

...and then the rebel flagship explodes. Result.

...you explode with your best loadout with the rebel flagship at 1 hp.

Happened to me many times.
