Artillery lasers?

I'm currently using Superlimunals Ship Editor and whenever I add the artillery laser station and save my ship SSE just crashes. Then I can't load that save file.

Does anyone know how to fix this and if not how to add artillery lasers to a mod ship?

Regardless of how many weapons your ship can hold, if you have an artillery system, the artillery weapon is the 5th weapon mount. If you have less than 4 normal weapons, you have to add dummy weapon mounts.

If I didn't make enough sense, check that you are using the latest version of Superluminal. I was under the impression that it fixed the crashing from artillery, although I already knew how to avoid the crash before the update came out, so I haven't seen if it still crashes.

Edit: I'm assuming you are asking about player ships and not enemy ships. I don't know anything about enemy ships.

There indeed was a bug that would cause the editor to crash when saving a ship with artillery system assigned, but no weapon mounts... Nice find :)
Here's a download link to fixed .jar - just drop the file inside the editor's directory and overwrite. I'll update the main release later on...

Alright thanks :D it was somewhat frustrating when I couldn't make the Fed Cruiser replacement for my Bulki Fleet mod lol :lol: but thanks again!
