So I boot up FTL for another try crack at the game (I haven't beat the boss yet). I knew that I wouldn't be able to defeat the boss, but hey, its a fun game. but lo and behold I get the best run I have ever had, let me give you a description: level 4 shields by sector 2, Breach Missile, Burst Laser Mark III, Heavy Ion and Halberd Beam, Max Engine, Blast Doors, Sensors, Auto Pilot with a Drone system and Crew Teleport and etc. By the time was in sector 8 I had 500 extra scrap that I didn't really need, and a ton of crew members ready to fight. I beat the first too stages with ease and on the third and last stage, The boss had 0 shields only one weapon (Triple Ion, which couldn't hurt me) and only one crew member left, and 3 hull left. I was so close to destroying it for good and winning the game. but then... disaster strook 
the flagship started to, well.. flicker and the background turned into a nebula/rock storm that also 'flickered'. then the kestrel started turning into a Engi A Torus, and then, well the game crashed. A day later I found out that the properties were all in the wrong place there were ship layouts in music files, and background pictures in sprite folders. Shortly after, I found the source. it wasn't my mate, or my sister, but the most annoying thing to gaming on the computer, My fluffy cat on the keyboard while I was taking a pee, I knew that I should of hold it.
