What's odd with this screenshot?

I guess the same impossible event could be triggered by a non-upgraded Carnelian or any ship that sold all its weapons, or a non-upgraded Bulwark that ran out of missiles (I would be surprised if in the case all your weapons are missile weapons the event would subtract a missile from your stock).

What would be also interesting to test is if you trigger the alien spiders event and have a boarding drone in your drone slots, if you would not get the blue option when you're out of drone parts.

Is there other evidence of impossible events, where the game fails to check if you are actually equipped to do what you're pretend-doing?

Maybe control the crowds with only one Zoltan crew member that's low on health and... succeed?

Similarly, a Rock event where they attack you because you're an Alien will still occur in a Rock ship with only Rock crew members.

Or how the Hidden Sector narrative of awe and wonder doesn't change when you enter it with a Crystal Ship.

And speaking of Rock events, there's the one where a Mantis ship is decorated with Rock body parts and your Rock crew can speak with the Mantis captain - is there more behind this event or is it just atmospheric?

I guess that is one instance where a blue option gives you nothing better than the plain "Attack!" option.

Or like when a slug on a moon calls you human though you are slug.

Yeah, it seems that most events are designed to be encountered by the Kestrel or another human ship... I wonder if they change the wording to fit your specific ship (or even crew, at least the captain) in AE.
