Modding tool request

It isn't hard to program such thing, I know, because i know the basics, but i can't do something like that. It would make modding much simplier and better. I'm not guy which don't know how to mod ect., but imagine if you had that tool, you would create your mods from 5 to 10 times faster! There's must be just guy which wanna do such thing, maybe few guys. If you know how to do such thing, but you're interested what you will get in exchange:
Tons of new mods, not just a ton of ships, but a lot of drones and weapons!
You would be very welcomed in the modding section.
You could do donate link, if you want of course.

What do program needs? Something like on the screenshot, not exactly, but this UI would be great. What about graphics you may say? Just simple browser of graphics and that's all. Would be nice, if it would have decompiler and complier, but don't have to. If someone would manage to do such thing, I expect ton of event modds, which are cool! Even casual players could do their own mods with this little tool.

First of all, you're supposed to post this in Mod Development, not Mods.

Anyway, on topic:

It definitely sounds possible. Even easy. But I doubt somebody's going to make it. :P

"It's really easy I just can't do it" is an oxymoron.

If it's easy, you've got to at least understand the needs and basic code required. Use this as a learning experience.

I am very, very tempted to take a crack at this.
In the mean time, I'll see if I can make a bunch of 'empty' events and a guide on how to decide what reward and ship calls are required for the event.
Of course, this might take a WHILE.
